Research Question, were Straight Edgers active in their violent protests similar to the Hard line edgers?

If you were to interview someone to answer this research question, what information do you want and why?

I want to know how many were straight edge and how many were violent.

Examples of questions i could ask?

Were you a member of the straight edge movement?

Were you violent?

If you were to do an observation what kind of information would you need to answer the research question?

I would need to be able to identify which sect of the straight edge movement i was observing, and weather or not they supported violent and confrontational action.

Where would i observe this and get this information?

I would use reddit and straight edge websites.

Thinking of the research question, what information would you want on a survey to answer this research question and why?

This is the same as an interview but more condense. questions would be limited to simple yes no one word responses pertaining to level of activity in the straight edge movement.

I think im going to conduct observation regarding the groups. Im going to study media from the last 12 months on youtube reddit SE webstites and ect.
