Interview Questions Prior To Assigned Reading:

Do you believe that you are in full control of your digital identity? Are you able to fully express how your feel, or what you want to present regarding yourself?

What other outlets could you use in new media to improve your presentation of your creativity? How do your post effect your followers? Why do you interact the way you do?

What certain aspects of your life do you want to highlight through social media?

With your different social media outlets are there different “masks” in which you wish to portray in each one?

Do you feel like you portray a personality or persona online that is different than your offline persona?

Why do you present yourself on social media in the way that you do? Are your digital decisions conscious? For example do you post or present things for a certain reason?

Do you plan on adjusting your online persona, or your offline persona? Do you wish to adjust your offline persona to live up to what you portray in your digital identity?

How updated is your digital identity? Where have you stopped time?

1. Would you consider your digital identity to be updated? If so why have you continued to update for informaiton? If it is not updated where did you stop time digital time, and why did you chose to stop digital time?
2. How would you describe your offline persona? How does your online persona conflict or agree with your offline persona?
3. What steps to you take in order to maintain control of your digital identity? If you do not feel like you are in control of your digital identity why do you feel this way?
4. What affects do you want your online posts to have on those who follow you or come across your profile? What nodes are you using to accomplish this affect?
5. In what ways are you able to truly express how you feel through social media? In what ways do you believe that you are being inhibited?
