My part in the Groove Girls project concerns the Inspired By page. The goal of this page is to identify resilient women who inspire creative expression. So far I have assembled a list of women with input from Dr. Hodde. These women have demonstrated an ability to express a unique identity within their field and have also demonstrated the quality of resilience.

Before the page is completed I need to edit my summaries of the inspiring figures and include links that will provide beneficial and age appropriate information. Additionally Dr. Hodde and I have determined that we need to feature images of the women that portray them in some form of motion or work.

The next task I have is to complete an introduction to the page which relates the inspiring women to the goals of the  Groove Girls project. Accompanying the introduction will be a list of three questions designed to inspire reflection and further knowledge about the concept of resiliency and how the girls can apply it to their lives. Hopefully, the finished page will provide the girls with information on the different forms that resilience can take, and an idea of how to express it in their own lives.
