Values Added for Learning (An Annotation)

In How Much Is That Bachelor’s Degree Really Worth? The Million Dollar Misunderstanding, by Mark Schneider, the author dissects the common myth that someone who earns a bachelors degree makes a million dollars more over their lifetime than someone who just has a high school level education. The author seems very credible, with other published work on education and economics including a full book. He appeals to math minded with an avalanche of statistics and jargon, as well as those who have a soul by adding in anecdotes about the audiences imaginary daughters. This is an evaluative argument, about whether or not the million dollar figure is worth anything.
