Writing a rhetorical analysis is a process that can be broken down in to multiple steps. “These steps include having a statement of purpose that shows one’s purpose, audience, and context. Also, Your composition must be designed using the proper strategies, mediums, and arrangements to convey this purpose” (Wysocki, Lynch 315). The author of a rhetorical analysis must know that everything from the type and font of the print chosen, to the linguistic style chosen has a rhetorical effect on the purpose the readers will infer from his/her work. A feeling of clarity or one of persuasion should be what the reader should takes away from the rhetorical analysis.
