This work showcased all of the skills I have learned throughout my time at VMI. In my writing of “The Rhetoric of Technology in Community Policing”, I conducted intensive research on the rhetoric behind the new technology being used by police officers. I researched success stories behind body cameras, and made analytical connections between rhetorical philosophers and the current problems in community policing. This work is one that can benefit me in career oriented writing that requires the writer to analyze the audience and write in a way that connects multiple ideas in an academic style writing.
