This item, “Lexington Newsletter”, allowed me to show my ability to use rhetorical strategies in a professional situation, as well as showcase my ability to craft creative works. The documents below are a newsletter I crafted for the city of Lexington which includes a creative non-fiction piece in the form of a Community Spotlight article. I also included a Note from the Editor piece, and other pertinent information including upcoming events I gathered through interviews with various members of the Lexington Community. This work allowed me show journalistic style writing and digital editing that correlate well into the professional world. This course acted as a great precursor and taught me necessary skills for my Senior Capstone Course.
