This essay was designed to help our teacher get to know what kind of writer we are. There are many steps you need to take before you can start the writing process. The process started with, having to summarize a few passages from Writing about Writing. This helped us understand that you can be specific in a few short sentences.   What I learned from this essay was that it is easier to connect with your audience when you add personal context. This type of writing style was much different than I was use to. This type of writing makes you personalize and bring more into the reading,  such as imagery. My weakness in this essay was not doing enough drafts finalizing my work. Also the thing I need to work on is more vivid descriptions in this particular assignment. Also I had common errors that most normal essays have such as grammar, punctuations, and comma splices. Being the first essay of my college writing I learned that it is not against the rules to get outside help with the grammatical issues. Asking questions about your paper helps figure out what is going on. The strongest part of my essay was the flow and the organizational process. I had a good flow through the paper and the point was made clear and direct. This assignment was very helpful into developing the basic strategies you need to write an essay.  I developed a good sense of what my strengths and weakness are.
