In Search for Myself

I wanted to see what would come up if I searched for myself on the web, so I typed my name in the search bar via Google Search, Yahoo and Bing to see what would come up. I was surprised to see more information about me than I thought there was going to be. The usual social media links popped up like my Facebook and Twitter profiles, but more importantly there were several articles that I found that are related to my baseball career/accomplishments. When I looked on the images pages I found many baseball pictures of myself, both from high school and VMI, all linked to such articles. These results show that my digital identity is mainly involving my baseball life, which is exactly what I want. Although I was able to find good material on myself when I searched for my name, I think that I can expand my digital identity a lot more. Some things I could do would be to start blogging more about my desired profession, start involving myself in online conflicts among this career and aggregate more work. Simply, I believe I just need to ‘get out there’ a little more.
