I believe that my consultant, Manny, did a very well job of analyzing my digital footprint, via my Facebook and Twitter profiles. I think that he was dead on about my Facebook page. I do not use it nearly as much as I should be. I actually hardly ever make posts on my Facebook profile since I mainly use my Twitter account to blog, I nstead I use my Facebook page for other reasons. After reading his review, I have realized how important it could be to keep up with my Facebook account and present myself on there the same way that I do on Twitter.
One thing that I did not quite understand from his review is what he meant by me being a “helicopter child.” Also, I do not necessarily agree with trying to make my parents post less on my page. I think that that helps show that I build strong relationships, whether it be friends and family or even new people, and that that is a great and important characteristic to have, one that mostly everyone looks for. However, I understood what he was getting at and to that extent, I can agree with him.
What I am going to take away from this review is that I need to go back to my Facebook page and do a little bit of remodeling. On top of that, I need to start being more active on there. Just like Manny said, I should go to my Twitter page, look at how I use it so well to cater to my intended audience, and transition that over to my Facebook.
