With paper 1 as a writer, I was sticking to my tactic that I used during high school, which was assume every possible reasons and outcome. I was writing as if I could just say something and it would just appear right and become right. In addition, I was trying to analyze and stray away from what I knew, which is summarize the plot and the ideas. From the comments, I realized that if I had written with what I had known, I would have done better than I had done when trying to fully achieve what was wanted by the syllabus. At paper 2 I think that I have slightly improved by moving away from assuming everything and summarizing to making smart analyses.
