This week was the most challenging SPSS to date. I spent several hours outside of class trying to manipulate and understand the data, but I still struggled with Sommer’s D and Crammer’s V. The most important thing I kept messing up was putting the percentages in the columns and not the rows and which value to write down from Crammer’s V and Sommer’s D. Once COL Sanborn helped guide me through the Chapter; I could start to understand what was happening, and this helped me perform better. Next week is our last chapter in SPSS, and I have heard it will be the hardest as well. I know if I continue to ask questions and read the book, I can perform better on SPSS and the quizzes to improve my grade.
