Essay #3 reflection
Final Essay #3
In class 4/19
- My goal for my reflection is to show myself and my instructure what I have learned in my English 102 class. It is important to show myself what i have learned so that i can keep it with me and hopefully use that information for paper that i have to write in the future. I want to show my instructor what i have learned so that they know the strides i have made as a writer since the beginning of the semester.
He does well by identifying the problems me made on his papers and hes very specific on the mistakes that he made. It also addresses those mistakes very well but saying how he fixed them and the comments that his professor made. He could improve his thesis, it should be more specific and sets up for the rest of the essay.
1. I have learned about including the opposing arguments in my paper because it helps my ethos and allows both sides of my audience to see the whole debate not just one side.
2. I can apply the use of ethos logos and pathos to all of my papers in the future.
3. In my writing i feel most confident about the structures of my essay. I believe they all flow well.
4. In my writing i need to improve my introduction paragraphs. To do this i think i need to be more specific and take out information that doesnt really need to be in it.
5. I did not have any confusions when writing papers. If I had any questions i would refer to the prompt.
6. I do not have any major questions
7. My writing has helped me understand why it is important to include both sides of a debate in order for the reader to have a deeper understand of the topic.
8. My favorite peice of writing that i have wrote so far was when we took 2 sources of a debate and showed how they used rhetorical devices. I liked this because it showed me how to be more effective in my persuasive writing.
9. I would say that my development was good this past semester. I am now able to writing a strong argument and make sure that i include my ethos.
10. My goals as a writer are to be able to address my audience and purpose in each assignment that i get.
