My name is Benjamin Richie and I am a graduating 1st classman, senior, at The Virginia Military Institute.  I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in both Philosophy and Writing & Rhetoric.  At VMI I am both an Editor and writer for the VMI newspaper ‘The Cadet’ and work in the Writing Center as the Cadet Director and ePortfolio tutor. While these positions are more educational, I am also the Assistant Cadet in Charge of our Club Soccer team and a member of both the Ethics Club and the Psychology Club.

In the future I plan to attend law school, whether I go straight through and into school again or taking time off in order to work and gain valuable experience. I am not sure what type of law I am interested in practicing but I am looking forward to learning about each area while in school.  Along with my classes and commitments listed above, I have a wide variety of other relevant coursework that will benefit me wherever I choose to go.
