In Video Games in Elementary education I was presented with the intricate problem of synthesizing the multiple varying opinions of my sources to an overall main idea. In Portfolio 2 I realized that summarizing the individual annotations of my resources was far easier than synthesizing them together. The evaluations of the annotations as a whole improved steadily from my first to second draft yet it was still not formulating into a clear message useful to a reader. By looking farther into the meaning of each article I saw what the underlying answer was to video games in education which can be seen when I to my last draft. The realization of what the authors were trying to say allowed my to develop a clear thesis and supporting details which I believe greatly improved my final message in my final draft; authors agree if video games are used correctly in education then they will have a positive impact of children minds and future.
