Generations of knowledge are preserved and passed on through education. This is why education is fundamental in our ability to develop and grow as people and as a society. Regardless if it the classroom or in everyday life the lessons we learn add to our overall knowledge and thus further our growth as a whole. Technological advances would not have been possible without having the prior lessons our ancestors had learned through trial in error through the thousands of years of failure and success. People take for granted the things we are able to do in today’s world such as reading and writing which seems like an every task, yet without education we would never have these cherished skills. Writing, which has been sculpted and refurbished through multiple civilizations is the keystone of education and our ability to pass on knowledge. Education via writing enabled us to read and learn the skills necessary in our everyday life from the house we live in to the food we eat it is all a direct result of generations of knowledge. The human race owes our success to education and its ability to pass on knowledge so that we can continue to surpass the expectations of even our most imaginative ancestors.
