Pisteis – Aristotle: Ethos, Pathos, Logos that explains the means of persuasion. Plato: mere belief that doesn’t support culturally relevant information because it can be studied on how beliefs can shape reality regardless of timeframes

Enthymeme – Aristotle: a rhetorical syllogism that was associated with “antistropht” that has the major premise isn’t stated because its already known by the people. Thought philosophy is general in nature, so enthymeme is a logical structure and it was the foundation of language. “If ___ is a man, he is mortal”

Syllogism – the Encomium of Helen by Gorgias à explained the wrongdoing carried out upon Helen from the city of Troy

Deliberative rhetoric – Aristotle: dealt with events of the future and was associated with law making

Judicial rhetoric – Aristotle: dealt with events of the past and how events play out
