What I’ve learned so far using the SPSS software is that it is not very user friendly in the slightest. In fact, it’s pretty much impossible to attempt any of the worksheets without the help of the workbook. Thankfully, I was able to pick up a new workbook at the VMI bookstore the other day, and although the price was quite high, I have to say it was worth it. When I read textbooks, I typically like to skim through the information to find only what I’m looking for. However, when doing the worksheets it is necessary to thoroughly read all of the text involved so that you don’t miss any of the crucial information. Typically there is a certain box you have to check or uncheck, and if you don’t follow the instructions, the data can be very difficult to interpret.
