Chase Smith, is a native of Lovettsville, Virginia. Chase has also been an avid hunter for the majority of his life. He lives on a farm so it after school every day, during hunting season, he goes out into the fields and hunts. Along with hunting chase has been playing football since 5th grade as an offensive line man. Freshman year he started looking at VMI and around junior and senior year he started considering it seriously. Chase didn’t only consider VMI, he also looked at JMU and ODU, but ultimately chose VMI because it has the highest post grad success. Being a football player has its perks, for example, getting out of SRC and getting to travel on weekends. After Chase graduates from VMI he hopes to get into some sort of government investigation.
