Looking Back

While writing my paper about The Tethered Generation, I found myself flustered at some points. I would be writing and then I would seem to go off in a deferent direction that I originally intended to. For some reason I couldn’t get onto paper what I had planned out in my head. After stumbling around for a few paragraphs I realized that I needed to reread the article. Once I had a better understanding one what I was actually writing about it made the words come with much more ease. Along with rereading the material I tried to use a trick that I have always heard about but never really considered it until now. When writing a paper get up and walk around. Don’t leave the paper and go watch a movie, but just get up and get a drink of water or something and get back on the grind. The break in work will really help with brain storming new ideas if you are stuck on something. Breaks in your work is the major thing that I learned while righting this paper. It substantially helped me when I was stuck with the direction I was going.
