The main arguments in Kincholes arguments are pretty straight forward. His article generally references about Mcdonalds and how it affects the us as a whole and including the Appalachian. Kinchole argument starts off by asking a simple question how does Mcdonalds affect american culture. Kinchole uses Mcdnalds as wonderful business opportunity in the american culture. He even goes as far as to quote “american flag will fly 24 hours at McDonald”. This symbolizes the patriotism of Mcdonalds and influenced  Americans to come and eat. Saying this is the food for Americans, this where you need to be at. Mcdonalds make even tries to make Mcdonalds seem like a family place. By entering a lovely character known as Ronald McDonald that appeals children gives the assumption that Mcdonald’s is the place for your kids. It helps that Mcdonalds is fairly cheap everything mostly being a dollar. This idealism appeals to all Americans no matter how much money you have you are able to enjoy the patriotism of Mcdonalds. We might relate this article to think about the Appalachian people because of their distinct culture the things they appeal to like clothes and food that they eat are prime example of Mcdonalds. In a way the things they do appeal to Americans even tho most Americans think they live barbarically. The truth of the matter is Appalachian people are just like every american in all regions of the US.
