Asethetics- study of persuasive potential in the form beauty or force of symbolism. This word is deprived from Greek civilizations as a method of showing the power of symbolism. They used this to show how important art is. word found in chapter 1

appeals- symbolic method that aim to either to elicit an emotion or to engage. Majority of the times Greeks used this to to adapt and with the audience. This is found also in chapter 1 intro to rhetoric.

Argument-planned ordering of a message to achieve the greatest persuasive effect. In rhetoric mainly Greeks they use the use of argument in their forms of art. This is what made them great at plays.

Dispositio- cieros term for the effective ordering of arguments and appeals. Cieros highlighted in chapter one the importance of dispositio and his stance about how it is important in rhetoric or for rhetoric to exist.

Elucti0- Is another term associated with cieros and it explifes style of the rhetoric and each form of rhetoric has its own style.

Ideology- a system of  beliefs or a framework for interrupting the world.

Motives- goals or reasoning for doing something. usually rhetoric has a goal to achieve

Rhetoric art of- the study and practice of effective symbolic expression

Rhetorical discourse- discourse crafted according to the principles of the art of rhetoric, Discourse is a community or group associated by a certain thing and are the most important thing in that social structure.

Rhetorical theory- systematic presentation of rhetoric’s principle and examples of how rhetoric achieves their goals.

Symbol- any mark sign,sound, or gesture that represents something based on scial agreement. shoes how connect a purpose is or group. this is important in rhetoric.
