Southern Renaissance Study Terms

In the comment box below, post your chosen key word/idea/term that you think is relevant and important to know for this chapter and a link that you think does a good job explaining it. You are not limited to post only the terms listed on the syllabus. This exercise is open to all key ideas you think are relevant to the study of the Southern Renaissance.

You will get 1% added onto your participation grade for every three chosen links that are chosen (note: CHOSEN, not SUBMITTED), with a maximum of 5% but note that only the BEST links will be selected.

If multiple students submit links for the same term/idea/concept/artist/movement/painting/etc, only the strongest link will get picked and embedded into the syllabus and only that student’s picked link will count towards the extra credit. IE: if 10 students submit websites for the term “Renaissance,” only the best link will get the credit (and it is up to my discretion as to what I think the “best link” is.

This is to force you to do a thorough job searching for information on the web. All websites and pages will be considered EXCEPT wikipedia. This includes but not limited to: scholarly blogs, gallery sites, YouTube videos, online classes, social media, etc. The focus is on quality.
