Nikita Kadan is showing at PARKFAIR.
XXXXi̶s̶m̶ TC has been invited by the avantgarde art fair PARKFAIR to develop together a radical concept and site specific installation that is tailored to this years specific exhibition space – the Hall of Honor (Ehrenhalle) inside the Outer Castle Gate (Äußeres Burgtor) at Vienna’s Heldenplatz.
With TERMINARTOR, PARKFAIR is again creating a theme-based special exhibition setting that moves beyond conventional exhibition and art fair formats. It focuses on the World War I centennial as well as ongoing international crises and political tensions that could well end in a new nightmare breakdown of civilization. The show will let concept, setting, venue, artistic positions, and the viewers’ presence fuse into one piece of art.
This year, PARKFAIR cooperates with XXXXi̶s̶m̶TC developing together a radical concept that is tailored to this specific exhibition space.
All of the participating national and international artists have been invited from PARKFAIR and guest curators to formulate one slogan, message or thought on the subject. Only by using military night-vision equipment, which is part of the installation, viewers will be able to see the works become clearly discernible.
On the occasion of the World War I centennial, PARKFAIR is launching TERMINARTOR to send a message of peace to the world.
