Reflection on What is Happiness

Writing this paper was almost like a breath of fresh air. I really could allow the logical side of my mind to run rampant on the page because I find the philosophy so interesting and full of potential. Mill, who I ultimately decided had the most accurate take on hedonism and utilitarianism and general, was by far my favorite to study. Bentham’s Hedonistic Calculus was also a large point of contention because I would have never thought mathematics had any place in ethical decision-making or philosophy in general. Nevertheless, it seems to work in its own right. Overall, great paper to put time towards.
