Unviability of Socialism Reflection

While I was writing “The Unviability of Socialism” I had a constant stream of thought going into that paper.  I had done extensive research into the topic, ultimately concluding that yes, it is alright in the short term and it holds humanistic value, but in summary, no, socialism is bad for everyone except politicians.  Possibly the most difficult factor of writing this essay was the act of putting what I had learned researching over the entire semester into one coherent and persuasive argumentative essay.  Of course, if I had spent more time on it, it would have been a magnum opus.  I failed miserably once again by procrastinating a paper, something I know is mightily dangerous.  My fingers simply do not keep fast enough with my brain to accurately reciprocate my thought patterns appropriately and a mess of a page is born instead.

Truly, I wanted this essay to be magnificent.  I had spent hours and hours in Preston Library gathering resources to support my argument and they were great.  However, the issue became the fact I was no longer at the Institute.  When I was placed on medical furlough from VMI I lost everything I had working on.  All of the work I had put in to making a wonderful argument against the evils of Marxist was down the drain and all I had were the washed-up remnants of what I understood without my trusty books and notes.

The difficulty thereafter, again, was articulating what I meant.  I was persuading without evidence or developing any sort of credibility, a rookie mistake at best.  When it finally came to and I was in danger of taking a 0, I made the tug to get the paper in and completed it to the best of my ability with what I could.
