1. Nathan, I can tell that you don’t like the authors’ word choice, and I agree insofar as the word suggests an unpleasant texture, but that’s wholly deliberate. You mention multiple times in your annotations that you don’t know what the word means, but I never see you try to figure that out. You should try, both from the context clues of the text as well as your own prior knowledge of the word “squishy.”

   You ask an important question about data, though, that I think suggests implications for further research.
