Pardoner’s Tale

This paper was of great interest to me because I believe that the first piece of work that a student turns in can help set the tone for the rest of the semester. I chose the Pardoner’s Tale because I believe that greed is a big issue in the world today. People are always being told that excess is good and I think that Chaucer’s tale shows us that greed can in fact have negative repercussions. The process for this essay was long, but certainly enjoyable. Through my writing, research, and help from my fellow cadets, I sincerely hope that I have produced an artifact  which not only makes the reader think about The Pardoner’s Tale, but also about greed as a sin and not just a cultural norm.
