Ok. Last Artifact. Of course this last one has to be the most controversial of them all. Sigh.Fuck it, I’m gonna try and be fair, but i’m on defense here.

First off, the politicians…..smh wtf. I will not deny that ALL PRESIDENTS up to Bush fucked this issue up nine ways to Sunday. (shrug) sorry Clinton supporters, Bill screwed the pooch.  He made promises he couldn’t keep and returned to a Reagan-esqe platform.  Now yes Reagan did screw the pooch even more, with his never mentioning it until nearing the end of his presidency. But… To his credit and that also of Nelson Mandela…these men were curing the world or entire countries from civil wars and unrest.  Yeah sure Hindsight is 20/20 but come on folks.  These two had, and i’ll catch shit for saying this, bigger fish to fry.

Now, Politicians in general… many refused to except this because of the time period that they had been raised in. The gay community at that time was still half underground in the 80s and the subject a major taboo. Sorry folks, this disease did seem quite convenient to hit this exact population… (hmmmm wonder where we heard this before). Then you get druggies…. well shit.  If you can’t see why people didn’t want to give these fools new needles and let them die, its understandable, but you might have a bigger problem. This was an issue that granted… could be solved if the politicians had gotten their heads out of their asses. and Mbeki…. sigh…SUPER IDIOT! Now this idea of “family” that the quilt guy was talking about made me almost fucking laugh. seriously? Gay men, and druggies…. these are family oriented groups!? One can’t biologically conceive, the other, WOULD SELL A FUCKING CHILD FOR THEIR NEXT FIX!!!!!!!!

If these men where getting sick, why in the fuck didn’t they think to knock this crap off for a while!!!!? If I found out tomorrow that having sex with a women would kill me I’d castrate myself and join a fucking monastery!!!! (That or I’d stick with postmenopausal women). In this case, i’m glad I was born in 96 and got to avoid all of this stuff. I’m glad that this shit was able to move on, but then again….what if it happens again? Fuck….
