I’m not gonna lie, dying of TB sounded wonderful. Anyone who was anybody got it, and if they had to, died from it. I would have loved to be in those sanatoriums. The people, the experiences, the places and times seem to just have been incredible. the escaping from society as a cure makes sense to me. Plus the ways the families treated people seems hurtful and offensive to me. Although yes a very harmful disease, the things written and talked about seem to real to even imagine. I wish one day to stare death in the face the same as these men and women did…and give it the finger.  The Romanticism to me seemed to keep the disease from becoming as chaotic as other diseases the US and the World have dealt with.  But then again it still was a huge killer. A true shame.

But in the end, if I had to die from any of the diseases we have covered, I’d die from this one.

P.S. No they are not all the same song
