Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cars are the Future- Critical reflection

This research essay was one of the easiest essays I’ve written so far this semester. For me, it is really easy to write about something I’m interested in like hydrogen cars. And being able to research them and talk about the research was actually somewhat enjoyable because I got to learn new things while writing the paper. There are some parts of the paper where I feel like writing in the first person could have applied. For example, I was going to include a study that I did in highschool for my capstone. But doing so would create a problem trying to ensure that the first person was not used. Also, when talking about the interview it was hard trying to make it informational and not conversational. Considering my interview was with a family member there was a decent amount of conversation in the interview, so I had to sifer through and put only the informative information in my paper. 

After writing this paper, it seems as though I could persuade an audience very well. Considering how I set my paper up with there being information in the beginning about hydrogen fuel cell cars. Then I go into a more persuasive way with words to talk about all the benefits to these vehicles. And then towards the end I bring in the counterargument and shut it down quickly with evidence to support how the counterargument is wrong. The counterargument being that electric vehicles will dominate the future; I proved that wrong throughout the entire paper with evidence to show how much more efficient the fuel cell car is. After writing this paper, it is clear to me that the fuel cell car will be in the future, and I should be able to persuade my audience with this paper.
