Rhetorical analysis on the confusing future of automobiles- Critical Reflection

This essay made me analyze the source in a multitude of ways to meet the word count. For this essay I did have trouble meeting the word count more than I would on other essays. This i believe did in a way help my paper considering that I had to look at different ways to rhetorically analyze the paper and not repeat myself. This was the first essay that I have hit writer’s block over and over this semester. It was a very challenging paper to write because I kept going into a synthesis and giving information about the source and less rhetorically analyzing the paper. 

One thing that went well was talking about all the visual aids in the source. I believe I am strong at this from previous knowledge of building my own studies from analyzing other studies (data mining). But it was very good to be able to show how the graphs would aid the audience in understanding the source. One thing that will help me a lot from this paper will be from having to learn how to speak on a source without spewing information about it constantly. I believe that as a writer, I can go on forever about a topic. This can be good and can be bad depending on the situation. When a topic needs every detail written out then I am very good with that because I will just keep writing until I cover everything. But this is bad because in some situations I just need to speak about one sector of the topic and not the whole topic. And then that’s when I go off topic and easily ruin a good paper. But overall writing this paper will help me further my rhetorical strategies and make it easier to write the up and coming papers.
