The Creativity in the Process of Writing- Critical Reflection

Throughout this essay I learned a lot about myself and the importance to an individual writing process. Everyone has their own writing process, but also, it’s like the palm of a hand, everyone’s different no matter where you are from. Although where you are from, and personal characteristics influence your writing process. Your writing process is one of the most creative aspects of your writing as it is your own, and you can make it how you want. But after writing this essay I have found that my writing style and types of writer’s blocks differ from others. Generally, I don’t encounter writers block from bad topics or from a long word count. This is because my writing process avoids those writing blocks but encounters different types. I would consider my writing process to be more beneficial to myself as it generally isn’t that hard to overcome the writing blocks. The main writing blocks that I run into are getting distracted and or losing my drive of writing. Generally, Once I get into the grove of writing I don’t stop until the paper is finished. But when I become distracted, I lose the drive and it can mess up my writing process. Then I must go back and read my paper to get to the place I was at and continue writing. It can mess up my writing because you can tell when there is a break in my writing when I lose the flow. Writing process really increases your flow of writing, so when your writing process stops, so does the flow you have worked towards most of the paper. Also, when your flow of writing is all over the place, it Is hard for the audience to follow along. So, when your writing process is halted, it can be detrimental to the writing. Your writing process is the most important aspect of writing, if you have no writing process, then good writing is not produced.
