Sample Doubting paper hw

Being able to read these papers that both received decent grades was very helpful in giving us a base for how our doubting papers should be gone about when written. It was very helpful to see how they spread out the use of their sources and the evidence they gathered throughout their papers to help increase their credibility and balance of the paper. It was also helpful to see how to properly use the MLA format when citing sources.

March 6th HW: sources to persuade an audience

When choosing sources to use to help you persuade an audience you should take a moment to consider it and its possible effect. Sources you use should contain hard convincing evidence on what you are trying to argue.  You should take in account things that best fit with you argument and include those sources and leave out the sources that contain evidence that may create unwanted controversy and  cause the audience to become uncertain, or confused with the evidence you are trying to use. Some questions you might ask yourself when selecting sources may include and are not limited to: Personal experiences you’ve had yourself with the issue, what field of research might be relevant to the issue, what people could you interview that might can be considered to give expert knowledge on the issue, what useful info could you find on the issue from something reliable such as an encyclopedia, and what evidence could you find on the issue from a reliable statistical resources. All these questions are important because they help you keep the sources you use limited to just the ones that will be of most help to persuading your audience successfully.
