This is an essay that I wrote for a Field Work course in the Fall Semester of 2015 at VMI. The purpose of this essay was for me as an individual to review the information that I learned throughout the semester while doing hands on research on the development of reading skills in young children at Waddel Elementary. My ability to reflect on what and how I learned as well as my ability to conduct research are illustrated in this essay.
