Client Search 9/22

I searched my client, Rebecca Serrano, on Google and received 650,000 results; different images of girls popped up, but none of them were of my client. Her and many other “Rebecca Serrano’s” came up on Facebook, so that helped me find her easily. I also found her VMI Swimming and Diving bio too; other than that, I didn’t find anything else that was related to her.

I searched on Bing and received 430,000 results. The same images on Google popped up, so her pictures seems to not be regularly searched. I found her Facebook link again, but I didn’t find anything else that was related to her. I was surprised that her VMI Swimming and Diving bio didn’t pop up and that they gave fewer results than Google.

I searched on Yahoo and received the same amount of results from Bing. It was pretty much the same results as Bing; it showed her Facebook link, but not her VMI bio. Also, the same pictures that showed up before came up again.

  1. Andrew, this is a detailed account of your process. That’s good, because this post will help you write your methods section. I’m curious: what search terms did you use? Did you ever change them, and if so, how?
