About Me

My name is Digital Rhetoric Pic FamilyAndrew Jakobie Lewis and I am from Gwinnett County, Ga. I was originally born in Newport News, Virginia, but my parents and I moved down to Georgia when I 6 years old. I am currently a student-athlete at the Virginia Military Institute. I play offensive tackle in football and majoring in biology and minoring in exercise science. I don’t know exactly what I want to do once I graduate from VMI, but I have some options to consider; I have been thinking about going to a graduate school to be a Physician’s Assistant, going into OTS to be an officer in the military, or potentially try to get my name out there for NFL scouts to look at me. Going into any one these things after I graduate will satisfy what I what to do in my life as a career. I may want to be a Physician’s Assistant because I like physically helping people and I want to be around people that like helping others too. Since I am a biology major and exercise science minor, I am heading on the right path to becoming a PA. I was interested in math and science before coming into college, but I choose to do a science major because I thought that could lead me into helping others. Going into the military is an option for me also because I could possibly be a doctor in the military. I never really had a real interest in going into the military before coming to VMI, but after being here and learning what the military life is like, I have gained some interest in it. Going into the military could potentially pay for my schooling if I wanted to be a doctor too, so that could also fulfill my dream to helping people. Lastly, playing footballScience Pic on the next level could be a possibility too because I have been told that I have potential to be able to play. It would certainly be a blessing if I were to play in the league. Though the odds of it happening is very slim, but I am not going to get down because there is a slight chance of me going; I would rather have a slight chance than no chance of going to the NFL. Overall, this is just a little about myself and I hope you enjoyed reading a little bit about me.
