It seems that in the change from greece to christian europe there are changes in what people value in the practice of rhetoric. In this shift of religions the values of a new religion change what values that people gain from their religious beliefs. People in christian euorpe seem to put more of an emphasis on using rhetoric to pursuade outsiders to beleive in their religion and were more about using religion to support their own religous beliefs. Greece it appeared that religion and rhetoric went hand in hand but that values came from their religion and were used to support their arguments more often than not.
