IS-301 Thoughts on course
For this course the parts that I find myself most apprehensive about are carrying out unbiased research for our group project and also being able to form a good question with my group to do research about. I am concerned about both of these things because I think finding a good topic that allows research to be possible is going to be difficult. I also think it will be hard for us to pose questions to people in a way that wont give away what our research question is and having them give us the answers that we want to hear. I also think that some of the software portions of this class might be confusing for me because in the past Ive had trouble figuring out how some of these programs are supposed to work.

3. Why is it significant to our
discussion of rhetorical
theory and practices in
ancient Greece?
It can be seen as significant because it represents how much value is placed on people who practice rhetoric in Greece. It also can be seen as representation of what Ancient greeks valued.
4. Why did you select this
text? I selected this because it is a statue of an important author of the time and because I thought that much could be inferred about greek culture.
