This is an article and a study about how different worldwide clothing brands like Zara, H&M, and GAP exploit unfair deals with production people and the working class in Bangladesh and violate different rules and laws like not paying high salaries, canceling orders, and making people overwork. I think it is interesting because it is not only the first time different worldwide clothing brands have gotten into various scandals about making their clothes by exploiting people’s work without rewarding them. Also, these scandals appear a lot in South Asian countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Nepal because of low salaries and not many places to work, people agree to take any jobs that they can to make some money even if they do not know that big brands and companies are exploiting their ability to work and do not pay them fair share for their job that has been done. I think this is an important topic that needs to be raised because human rights are being violated. Governments of those countries make extra profits from business with famous brands producing their clothing inside their countries.
