The Awami League is the major and main political power and party in Bangladesh and many officials from the Awami League party are at top ranking political positions in the government of Bangladesh as AL was a ruling party since 2009. Also, the Awami League party has huge support and cooperation with the Indian government, which is Hindus. However, in this tweet, we can definitely see Awami League is blaming the BNP-Jaamat party which is mainly an Islamist political party in Bangladesh for creating violence and insisting Bangladesh’s population cooperate with BNP-Jaamat together prior 2001 national elections in Bangladesh. Also, it is important to note that AL blames the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Khaleda Zia for cooperation and full support for the BNP-Jaamaat violence against women and other regular villagers and citizens if they would support Awami League in the 2001 elections. This tweet is a good depiction of political mobilization and calls for the population of Bangladesh to start rising up against the BNP-Jamaat party members, supporters, or any activity that would be connected to the BNP-Jamaat. AL also uses different facts of violence against women and villagers to cause psychological effects amongst Bangladesh’s citizens and supporters of the AL to stand up against Islamists inside Bangladesh and be able to counter their activity. By posting this tweet, the AL also is trying to eliminate their potential competitors and be able to gain more support from the population after reviling those facts of violence and involvement of the BNP-Jamaat and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
