Tweet from Pakistan

This is a tweet written by Pakistani Senator Swati in response to the acquittal of Prime Minister Sharif and his son, who was the former Chief Minister of Punjab. The Prime minister and his son were accused of money laundering 200 million dollars. Once Senator Swati posted this tweet, directed towards a General Bajwa he was quickly arrested. I am surprised that such a small and harmless action can cause such a drastic response. If a state official is upset enough to publicly criticize the actions of a fellow government official, how common are acts of corruption within the government of Pakistan. I also wonder if his action of speaking out inspired any others to follow him and speak out against the regime.
