In essay one, One’s Thoughts on Justice, I discussed Thrasymachus’ ideas on justice. I took pieces of his argument, compared them with Socrates, and combined them to redefine the idea of justice. I further examined what he meant by “justice is in interest of the stronger”. Dating back to ancient Athens, justice was defined as what could be proven guilty or not. Compared to modern day courts, justice is based on giving or receiving a punishment or reward due to an action being morally right or wrong.
