My third ethics paper, What is Happiness, Identified the many different way happiness can be defined and achieve. Happiness is usually defined as a mental or emotional state of well-being established by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. It can come from hundreds and thousands of things, ranging from internal feelings and emotions or even external tangible physical objects or events. Research has proven happiness can be biologically, psychologically, and religiously defined and explained. Each individual’s interpretation determines how happiness can be categorized or understood, however, it may vary. In this paper, I took the thoughts and ideas proposed by many philosophers and religious thinkers and compare them with my own formulating my own thought and ideas on happiness.
