Leadership Mission Statement & Philosophy

Leadership is the ability to get others to achieve their own goals. Getting them to see that their success is the group’s success.

I want to be a leader to help others. There is to much to fix in the world to not try. Many people have accepted this modern life style and the consequences that come with it. Many people are controlled by shallow desires and fear. Their lives do not have to be some simple yet so twisted. It is m goal to help individuals realize their full potential and live out the highest standards of civility, service, and personal achievement. Even if I am not the one to fix every issue in my community, I want to build a legacy that does.

The purpose of leadership is to guide others. They can become better versions of themselves through the proper leadership. I hope to be known as a leader as someone who built a generation or group of leaders who were able to pave the way for change.

The purpose  and mission of leadership  is to guide others to their full potential. The challenge that leadership is getting people to do this even when they cannot realize that you are working in their best interest, or are unable or unwilling to realize their full potential.  Ideal leadership takes into account the needs of followers, ability, and their needs. Ideal leadership takes these factors into consideration and uses them to their advantage to developep their followers while accomplishing their higher mission.

Ideal leadership is centered around justice. It balances right and wrong with the needs of its followers. It is not blind fairness or making everyone equal, but expecting on the best according to ones ability and constantly pressuring followers to seek out improvement. Being an ethical leader means everything you do is open and honest, with the best intentions of your group in mind as well as the members of the organization.

The thing I fear most as a leader is failing my followers. They have trusted me to lead them and advocate to them. If that means speaking truth to power and being removed from my position then so be it. But also fear abandoning them by making rash decisions and not picking my battles.
