Of the pictures provided, this picture stood out to me. I believe it stood out and reflects m leadership style at this point in my leadership journey because I often think of this step in my leadership journey as building tactical proficiency. Right now, I think about my brain eating information and being worked like a muscle being pushed to its limits building leadership experience inside and outside the classroom. It is very important to me that I graduate VMI with more than just a degree.

In a professional setting, I am currently the Band Company Clerk and mechanical engineering major.

In the future, I would like to have a nice family and work as a freelance engineering consultant in my home town of Nashville Tennessee. Ideally, I would like to retire at an early age, or at the very least cut back on my freelance work. Currently I am perusing a job through a Department of Defense program through the computer and information sciences department and a SURI research spot for this summer.

In my personal life, I have a wonderful girlfriend named Sarah. I have two brothers 1 older and 1 younger. Most of my family lives in Nashville, if not Tennessee. My home and my family mean everything to me. Before coming to VMI I promised to give my parents everything a son can give his parents.

In the future, I want to be know as someone who built up his community and as someone who cleaned up the broken parts of his community and helped people put their lives back together. It would be my life’s greatest achievement to be known as a family man.
