I try and write on a high level but sometimes get  in trouble when thinking of the right words to use.

In paragraph 1, Osborne uses a very interesting hook that drew me into wanting to read more. This was continued for the next several paragraphs, each as intriguing as the last, while he sets up the anecdotal story. The several paragraphs following the introduction transition the essay to a time before his revelation happened building further suspense for me. After this he moves into more of a self evaluation as to what went wrong to begin with and why his writing is “different”. He summarizes that trait and blames it on his mother. After this, and some “rambling”, he begins showing the reader how this revelation changed the way he writes, and uses his friends option at the end to further this.

I liked the “continuum ” topic from Perl.

 

I also like the students comments section of Windsor but find it a little ironic.

project-3

2. novices look up to and learn from experts
3. I am a novice. I look up to the experts in this field and learn from them.
4. leadership
5. In a way both. I consume when the speech but produced according to my own leadership experiences
6. provides me with better insight on George marshal (adding to history literacy)

Knowledge Is power. By Malcolm x’s studying while in prison he was giving himself a leg up on those who oppose his movement as well as attracting new member to his movement by becoming an idol (most black men were very uneducated at this time).

 

He gained knowledge through diligence.
