I was born in Massachusetts in 2003, on the Eastern Seaboard, in a little town called Marblehead. I am here to display my works that which I have accumulated during my Cadetship. "I declare to you, with great boldness, that I am here to save you from a great ugliness."

A CRITICAL REFLECTION: THE EVOLUTION OF THE TWO WRITERS, EXAMINING THE PAST AND PRESENT SELF

While writing this essay, in which I examined my developments as a writer, I noticed that I had still been developing from my first draft to my final draft. Contained in my rough drafts, I managed to notice the very same issues in which I had written about in my essay, the same issues in which I claimed to advance past! My writing reflects my concept of the “two writers” (Gallo pp. 1) in which the consistent examination of my writing, and the habits that which I had written about, constantly appeared throughout each draft, all the way to the final.

Looking at my mistakes in the beginning of this essay process, It came clear to me that I simply had not been producing enough depth within each example of the developments of my writing processes, during my discussion with you, Mrs. Smith, an example had been brought up in my piece about “thinking processes” (Gallo pp. 2) where, while I did explain what this process was to me, and how it was developed, it was not made clear how I experienced this. This issue was fixed as I drew a piece from an older work The Power of the Literary Sponsor, and compared the piece created by myself “then” to myself as a writer “now”.

Finally, I believed I accomplished exactly what I had been trying to do. I wanted to make the development of my writing processes reflect in my writing of this essay. From the first draft to my final submission, it was obvious that I was still developing, and my ability to integrate my learned skills in “fixing” the rough drafts becomes clear as you navigate each draft.  The depth of my ideas increased as I mulled over each topic that I discussed in my thesis statement. Writing this essay brought to light many of my developments and processes that I had been blind to previously.
