This is an essay from ERH 301 (Rhetoric and Public Address) from the Fall semester of 2016. The purpose of this assignment was to rhetorically analyze a great writing from famous speakers in history. I chose to analyze“Faith, Truth and Tolerance in America” by Edward Kennedy. This demonstrates my ability to think analytically and demonstrates my range of practice as a rhetorician. This was my second attempt at rhetorically analyzing a work and I saw a good development from my first piece with my implementation of exigence and constraints.
