We are now only a few weeks away from the end of the semester. I understand how to use SPSS and I understand some of its capabilities such as comparing and analyzing data. However, I do not really understand all the numbers and the results. I mostly just follow the directions from the book to get the answers for the homework questions. I would like to understand more of what i am doing and completing such as why there are positive and negative numbers and what exactly do they mean. I have not been doing well on the quizzes because of this reason. The quizzes are very analytical and makes you really understand why you are entering in the numbers and getting the results. Which is very different from the homeworks where you just follow the steps. Thus, I am a little weary of the final quiz and the final exam because I do enjoy this class but the analytical part is what I struggle on. I wish that our class time could be dedicated to explaining why we got these results and what it exactly means.
